I started this on my days off this week under "austere field model building condtions", AKA my back yard patio table, while my house was being fumigated. It is actually a decent kit and progressing quickly. One the first evening of work:
and then the next day- Yesterday I did steps 3 thru 11, although I skipped adding the roadwheel arms in 9 and have not done the external fittings of the top deck in 11
So now that I am back in my proper hobby work area I can get the painting done...[;)]

Yes the interior will be visible- it has all sorts of open hatches to peek inside thru. Not sure yet if I am gonna keep the ramp movable or no to add to that.

Lets just say that Khan suits my temprament on certain things lately.

Ah! Interesting project! This vehicle shares it's genes with the YPR-765, right?
BTW; please loose the hideous avatar! You made Shaun bleat and run away crying from fright! And that in my early shift... During those early hours it's supposed to be the silence of the lambs...
LOL 104! Sorry about scaring your poor little sheep, but Khan is not going anywhere for awhile. No hard feelings there.
Thomas, the K-200 is actually a variant of the M113 family and more closely related to the MICV/YPR-765 used by several NATO nations. But it is not a licensed production sort of either. I think that the ROKs left off the power turret and 25mm chain gun as a cost cutting measure on the basic vehicle. Although they have developed teh K-200 family widely with various armament pacakages such as mortars, Vulcan cannon, ATGMs, etc. just like the 113 family

I agree! The information that we learn modeling may not be of much practical use in everyday life, but it does keep our brain active at least.
Today I did the final bit of gluing parts in the interior that needed to be done prior to painting. I also cut up some mesh into the proper sizes and shapes for the engine deck intake and cooling radiator screens. Nothing worth photos today, but probably tomorrow.
