Been a while since I've seen any updates gents. I know you all are out on the lake catching bass and crappies and bluegills, but let's get back to model building shall we? Been putting the finer touches on this wing. Checking the filling and sanding and replacing the very crude nav lights that are molded into the wing tips on this kit with Apoxie Sculpt.
I almost forgot -- Sarge!

I’m just wondering why Sarge is wearing a sheepskin jacket over a tshirt… Was Fonzie drafted into the AAF?

I'm working, but it's on a Hasegawa B-47 and it's just a lot of fixing divots here and there. But it's getting closer. Also building up the 1/48 Hasegawa Aircraft Support Set A, while filler cures on the 47.

Nice detail work on the AD.
Roger that John. Have not see too many build B-47's. Can't wait to see yours.

Wow, got some bench time yesterday and was able to finish up the camo on the fuselage. Sprayed the light grey on the bottom on the fuselage /cowl , which was a total pain as Tamiya LP would clog my nozzle after about 2 seconds of spraying!

Typical of Tamiya LP paints. I had it happen but not 2 seconds but during a pause as I would adjust my stand to turn the kit to the opposite side. A Q-tip soaked with lacquer thinner to dab the nozzle usually does the trick.

Interesting to hear that the Tamiya Lacquer paints are giving problems with tip dry for you guys. So far I have had no such similar problems with them when airbrushing.
