Whose/which colors are you using for the SEA camo colors?

Good man, mixing your own SEA colors with Tamiya. :shoutout:

It started as a fun experiment a few years ago. I liked the result, combined with the fact that the paint is highly avaliable and inexpensive, so I've stuck with it...

Yeah, Tamiya paints are carried by most any hobby shop that carries model paints. I’m really surprised that Hobby Lobby does not carry the line. With the demise of Model Master they need to carry one big line. The selection that they chose of Vallejo and Gunze is limited at best.

So I'm chugging along... got the wings flat coated... next, the fuselage. First, I wash it good to remove dust and static as I normally do. Then also as I normally do , I try to blow off as much excess water as possible with my airbrush... Then NOT AS USUAL, decals start flying off the fuselage.. no , nothing important, just the nose art and a few stencils around the cockpit! Well dang! I am sure glad the decal sheet came with a left and right side nose art decals and I only opted to use the left side one! I quickly re-applied replacement decals and am now waiting for fuselage to air dry before I lay down some flat coat tomorrow. Also got the landing gear struts and wheels all painted and worked on the wing drop tanks/napalm canisters. I think I am going to call them napalm and paint them bare metal. Let me tell you , cleaning up those tanks was really fun! Also doing surgery of two of the bombs to turn them in to regular mx 82's without the fuse extender just to mix things up a bit...

Look at his eyes in the 2nd picture -- you have to admit -- he does sort of look like Steve Austin? :hmm:
