Thank you Lyle! The B-66 is cool! And yeah, I'll have to be careful, but I doubt a wooden colored gun would be mistaken for the real thing. Then again as you say, I am in CA!
Yup..... California, the Nanny state. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. :bag: :giggles:
We'll let that one slide. :ballbat: :giggles:

Not that New York is any better… :tease:

Mark, is there any 1/72 A3D Skywarrior kit out there? I remember building a box scale one by Revell back long ago… probably closer to whatever scale the Rocco Minitanks come in than actually being 1/72.

Old pic!

God no. I hate our NYS governor. She’s an idiot….

I was reading comparisons between the BF-109 and FW-190 (power, roll rate etc ) and ran into this book that looked interesting. No pictures though  and only covers US fighters - Corsair, hellcat, wildcat, thunderbolt, mustang & lightning.

Hasegawa did a bunch of A3D's in 1/72, Carlos. A-3B, KA-3B, and EKA-3B are in my stash. Very nice kits.

I saw something online that a Dauntless has a slower rate of turn vs the Zero in a turning dogfight. The Zero tend to overshoot their turn thus the Dauntless usually gets the Zero in its sights for an easy kill.

Went to a used book store that we discovered the other day and I found these two books. I love the Space Shuttle and test aircraft so I had to get these two. I have one other Space Shuttle book that is huge and is very technical that I got a long time ago at Nasa here.

Ok, those probably came out after 1983 when I stopped building 1/72 and really didn’t keep track of what came out in that scale after that year.
