I've been painting up the cockpit on this, it's only a rough job as, having test fit it into the fuselage, it mostly won't been seen once it's all buttoned up. I need to finish the IPs and side panels, add some tape seat belts and give it a dark wash.



I've no idea how accurate this all is, lets just say it's based on some photos.

It’s all gray and black in there Stuart. Dark Gull Gray to be exact. At least on the ones where I got up to the flight deck. Don’t remember anything about seat cushions. Of course those were US Hercs. I couldn’t say what is what about RAF Hercs.

Looks good Stuart! Seatbelts? I'll button mine up and assume no one will ever look through the windows, let alone see anything - but I admire your attention to details. Colors look great and I do recall seeing red seat cushions somewhere

The nylon webbing for the bench troop seat backs is red... I think that the seats themselves are OD nylon, but don't remember... haven't been inside one since June of '06.
