Carlos, Mike…thank you.

Over the last two-three days, I seriously questioned whether or not I wish to continue with this hobby, Seriously. Two seats, four parts (seat, back. left and right sides). Four :scream: :scream: parts. Literally, three days, 15 or so attempts. Finally, they stayed together.

And, this damn thing. According to the destructions, the back of the bench is supposed to attach to the bulkhead and the front frame to the front of the locker. Nope. one or the other had to be made to fit. Don't know if it was me, poor directions, and, I don't care at this point. I made a piece that sort of looks okay.

Some kits just don't suit a builders style/expectations sometimes. Hang in there Lyle - looking like good progress.
Thanks,

Some kits’ engineering is better than others… Set it aside and work on something else.

Yes, they do. I’ll manage regardless. I think

Set it aside and work on something else like Carlos said.

Makes you wonder why they get vague on how some parts should go together. Instruction guides can be like…”Wut????”

If I shove it to the side, it may not get back. When the seats gave me problems, I did stop, look out Mt window, have some coffee, look at the forums and try again. I would also do a different step.

Some "weathering" on the cabin deck. HOnestly, I meant to lay down some aluminum, add some salt for chipping and then the dark gray. I forgot to do the aluminum and salt. So, dry brushed some flat aluminum, then added a wash of Tamiya Dark Brown panel line highligher. I guess it will do. The bench was covered with a piece of papertowl, brushed with white goue, hit with OD and then finally the panel wash.
