IA-58 Pucara

Post by BlackSheep214 »

This is the 1/48 scale Kinetic IA-58 Pucara in Uruguayan scheme. The fit is good with zero issues. Lots of fiddly tiny parts one should be extremely mindful of - especially when working with PE static dischargers on wingtips.

Turned out great Tom. Such a cool aircraft - looks great in that scheme. I'm doing mine in those funky Venezuelan colors.
EDIT: whoops, Argentinian colors

I’ve got a Viper kit I’m doing in Venezuelan scheme…. whenever I get to building it. :lashed: After the Rufe is done, I’ll be resuming on a couple car kits I’ve put off since fall of 2023.

Looks great, Tom. It may be close in overall dimensions but I'll bet the A-10 outweighs it by a good margin.

Well done, Tom. Good looking a/c.

That's an awesome build. I like that the canopy hides next to nothing. It's all on show there!

Great looking build Tom! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: That sure is one mean looking turboprop! :ballbat:
Some aspects remind me of the OV-10, and others of the Hs-129… :hmm:

Yup. Skinny, lightweight, but not quite as long as the A-10. Height wise, maybe.

The most unique looking engines. That's what drew me to this kit. Your engines look great Tom - nailed it.
Thanks,
John
