Nice gaps! That actually looks worse than the old clunky Airfix kits I built - I don't think the Tornado is actually an easy aircraft to kit - they all seem to have issues in this area.

Can't help with the pylons alas - I don't think I've build a swing wing kit where you didn't need at least four hands... maybe five... :hmm:

I'm still trying to figure out if it's something I screwed up on or the kit.

Well I went through the instructions and the kit and I don't see anything that I did wrong. I even checked the Revell instructions to see if I missed something in the assembly sequence. Nothing.

I've put it to the side for now till I feel like tackling all that mess. :whiteflag:

It’s a Revell kit. They’re suppose to be complicated to build… I mean over engineered :bag: There’s always the flak hammer nearby.

Taking a hammer to it had crossed my mind. :ballbat:

Well after much research and all, I've declared this one dead. I don't have time to keep trying to figure out the intakes.

I feel your pain, Mike. Sometimes it’s not worth fighting it any longer. :whiteflag:

Sorry; I feel your pain, Mike. There are at least two Trumpeter kits I cannot believe were designed to be built; just kept as collectible pieces of parts. I think that’s why kit bashing from spare parts became a choice way for model builders to take all of their unbuilt investments and turn these into something else.
