Painting looks very good Tom.

What were the blobs you mention - was that as a result of the template? I'm sure you'll sort them out.

Very nice.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Tail rudder. Used the template. First time I used it. My fault actually. :bag:

Just finished modifying the underside color. Reason is to tone down the late war variation of RLM 76 by using the template and airbrushing RLM 76 version 1 which is a light grey in color. I will need to retouch some overspray to the green and brown spots before pics.

Pics as promised. I don't care if it's correct or not but it's good enough for me. But..... in all honesty, I should have gone with the Light Grey RLM76 version instead. Oh well.... not gonna repaint it. Live and learn.

This is strange...

Either AK Interactive color had a reaction to Micro Sol (which I never had an issue with) or I didn't spray a clear gloss coat where I touched up in that area prior to decals. :headbang:

More touch up later when I finish decals in case I get another spot Ill.beed to touch up. :bored:

That is strange. Showed up after microsol? Or something on the plastic pre-paint?
I'm sure you'll fix it Tom.
Thanks,
John

After the flat clear, it restored it... somewhat. Screw it.... I'm not gonna fix it. Looks good enough for some natural faded spots on this warbird.

Anyhow, she is done!!!
