1/100 Tamiya F4 Phantom

Hi all,
I was gifted this, and I got impatient for the Phantom gb, so I popped it open.
With the nonexistent detail in the interior, I just painted the inside of the canopy black so you won't be able to see. The gaps were not great, but I got it pretty much ready for paint. All I need is a new needle and nozzle for my airbrush, and away I go.

I don’t think that I’ve seen any of those Tamiya 1/100 kits built before. What markings and scheme are you planning for this build?

Cool. An odd scale, though. Coming along nicely.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I am going to repaint this one, I hand painted it, but I am so unsatisfied with the outcome.

My other half told me not to repaint, and to just work with what I had. I came up with this, which I am happier with:
