That is the best advice a modeler can get! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Ahh, Barhopper, the journey of assembly of the Eduard kit begins with just two parts.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Come over, bro. You already have friends here!
Also, why so absolutist? Stay for a few months and breath in the culture and lifestyle. Try to blend in. Look where it leads you. If you're able to sublet your appartment it should make things much easier.
Cheers,

Oh man, you're going to Europe? And here I was hoping against hope that we'd be able to meet in person! I always lose everyone that I never spend enough time with anyway! I was hoping you'd be around for my 1000-kit display when I get it done....if I ever get it done. Working on it anyway.

As for what to do, John gave the best response. That's how I work; until I can't glue anything more, then I pull out another kit and repeat. If that doesn't work then put it all away, and as Torben said; just breathe in the culture and lifestyle and savor the differences and all.

Just don't forget all us SPAMmers here.......

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.

Duke! I would love to meet you in person for December’s St Crispin’s Meeting. Did I get the name right? And I’m still planning to honor SPAM and celebrate the first decade with a model build!

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at here - are these the sensor dishes from the front of the Enterprise?
