Looked hard for evidence of a beaching dolley in the pics and came up with nothing...so...thinking it was a bluff...

At this point, the dolly is only a thought/plan...hasn't even made it to the drawing board yet.

That's just some leftover Tamiya tape set aside for re-use.

The only clue anywhere is...."I'm planning to make one"!

It's actually pretty amazing to see how much details you can squeeze into a 1/72 scale plane! Without your hands & fingers next to the cockpit, one could easily believe it's an 1/48 scale plane.

Thanks Kari...I'm actually finding 1/72 to be far easier to make more convincing...much more "fiddly", but easier in the long run.

Nice progress on this MOFO...the greens in splinter camo don't seem to contrast much against each other though???

Shoulda seen em before I lightened the lighter color!!!
I used RLM65/72/73, as called for...they're so close, I had to do some color modification.
They're different enough, when there's separation between em...but put em together and they just blend.
