The Duke Finishes One Vehicle in November

Post by Duke Maddog »

This is a model that had been languishing for nearly a year while I searched for one stinkin' road wheel that popped off and disappeared. Finally, I had enough. I dug out a tank wheel that looked the closest to what is on this model, glued it in place, repainted it and then weathered the whole thing. The road wheel ain't accurate but this is by-God done! Sometimes you just have to say enough is enough!

Thank you for looking in.

Good work! What John said, too…
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

What they said. I know the feeling of finally getting that one PITA kit done.

Congrats on finishing a challenging build! :shoutout: That’s always a good feeling, just to get such beasts over the finish line. :hmm:

Thank you guys! Yeah, it did come out a bit more dusty than I wanted, but I'm just tired of dealing with it so there it is!

Tom, I agree, but to me it's both relieving since it's done; and frustrating because all the effort put into trying to make it look good were almost wasted. but like Carlos said; it is always a sense of some accomplishment getting such a beast over the line.
