Hasegawa 1/72 F-102A

Post by jeaton01 »

Did this for a Weekend GB on FSM, there are still three of us who can still post there and two of us plus another I will be posting by proxy for are in this. I was supposed to be done in 48 hours elapsed time but by the time the photos were done it took 80 hours elapsed time. Guess I should have picked a subject with fewer stencils and matt paint that doesn't take 12 hours to dry! First time I've done a weekend GB.
The last photo is of my collection of 1/72 Convair Deltas so far. Sure wish someone would do a better B-58 in this scale.

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong, this makes 24 for the year, 25 if I can get that stupid Talbot Lago across the finish line. Maybe it's because I finished that garage project.

Nope... not gonna catch up to him this year. I tend to slow down on my builds around this time.

Probably because of the upcoming holidays stuff and other family stuff.

That's okay by me. I can use a bit of down time for awhile. Plus I'll wait for whatever new kits I get for Christmas this year that will motivate me to resume building again.

Twenty-four builds in one year!?! :wow: I can only dream...

Awesome build John. But damn, 24 in one year? And I was happy with my 10-11 builds for the year. :whiteflag:

I started building the Hasegawa 1/72 106 about 30 years ago and just before decaling I dropped it and chipped the tail. Probably ought to fix that and finish it. At the time I felt I lacked the skill to fix the damage and it may be time to see if my skills have improved enough in that area!

Looks just great John. You know you would get your pictures done sooner if you would start developing your own film :giggles:
