I vaguely remember seeing one of these out at Edward’s AFB years ago. Very cool subject choice :hmm:
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

Many trees have been sacrificed to bring this paint scheme together!

Looking good John!

That's really a smart idea to print out the camouflage and cut it accordingly.
Will it result in a hard or soft edge?

TRying to finish the KC-10 - waiting on some decals and started this one, Hasegawa B-47...then back to the Chinook and the Huey (I hope).

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

On my workbench right now is the worst fitting model airplane I've worked on in many years. It's making a Monogram kit look like precision-fit! What is this nightmare, you may ask? The Trumpeter 1/48 MiG-3 (early version) has been reviewed by many, and nobody has seemingly had the issues I'm having. I've long read of modelers "binning" a bad kit and never quite understood that. Well, now I do. If I didn't have so much work into it already and a nice cockpit result, I'd throw it in the trash too. :pod: The main fuselage went together well, but man, mating that to the wings is just a beast. :poo: I had gaps everywhere and now have a true "shim monster"! I don't see one of the short seams ever lining up and it may end being a good representation of a "sprung" panel under the engine when I'm done!

Maybe I'll get some pics of this obscenity before tackling the problems today. Aye yi yi! :headbang:

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

I don't think I have ever heard anything positive about Trumpeter A/C. Their armor and ships can be nice, but the planes are a bit...well...not good. You can do it !!
