Sometimes one just has to duplicate some little kit part that flew into the gaping maw of the ever-hungry carpetmonster.

It happens. You grab some sheet styrene or bit of scrap and carve, file and sand it into a reasonable facsimile of the lost part. So far, so good! And it looks close enough for government work!
But, sometimes, that just doesn't challenge some modelers.

Take Guillermo Rojas Bazan, an Argentinia
n modeler; I've
italized modeler here because he's really more of a builder. His work is all done in aluminum, by hand with no electrical machinery (
so they claim...). I've come across his work before as well as the similarly amazing models of Dr. Young C. Park, of Hawaii, and it humbles me every time I see it.
