Looking good Stik. We sub and airliner builders know what kinda seam you're looking at. :headslap:
Can't wait until you start flinging paint!
Thanks,
John

I’m not a big fan of putty to begin with. Sanding is always my first course of action except with major gaps & mismatches. Then I like to use styrene shims.

That is what makes your projects so successful—especially the vintage kits. I’m not sure when this kit was designed but I’m pretty darn confident it was built with CAD files. Look forward to how you do this.

Thanks Bruce. Lots of sanding after dinner today. Most of the worst seams were removed. Now my next task is replacing the lost recessed rivets in the sanded areas… :headslap:

Well, after multiple masking and painting sessions, I finally have the camouflage scheme done.

Now I just need to do a few touch ups and paint the bared metal of the nozzle area and steering vanes…

Bravo! Thr vertical striations visible are from reflections? You processed this photo through the iPhone as “vivid,” correct? It’s looking good. Kind of want to see this outdoors. Dio?
