Exactly: especially the way Kari uses the stand while building the aircraft. I think this is almost a no brainer at the price.

Time to put some time into the Dauntless and preparing the canopies. I choose to build the Dauntless with closed canopy, even if it would look better with open. But I'm not so happy with the cockpit, so I close it up.

No Montex masks, but Academy provides with the kit this light blue thin paper masks. Fit very good and easy to use. Some struggle to get the pieces off, as the cut is so thin, difficult to find the edges of the piece.

And here we are, canopy mask done, but canopy still loose.

Need to figure out, where does the rear guns disappear when the canopy is closed. Have not really with quick Googling found any reference pictures, so if anyone has some good tips and ideas, please don't hesitate.. :-)

Regarding where the rear guns disappear when the canopy is closed...

:hmm:

I could use some of these for my high shelf aircraft on the rear row…

Thanks Bruce!

Interesting enough, the price of that Trumpeter stand in one of my "to-go" Web-shops, only 5€ aka 5,1 Dollars
