Busy week with almost everything else than bench time takes its toll.. However, could add a layer of AMMO Migs primer on the Avenger



Something positive though, I got the decals and canopy masks for the Buffalo, but had to pay custom fee as they came from UK (the fee equaled and exceeded the value of them + postage... )
Had really hoped the dear customs would not pay attention in a simple thin envelope coming from UK here... but so wrong I was.



Funny, when I ordered my Badger from US, never had to pay any customs for that.

And usually I order this stuff within the European union region, unfortunately was more or a less sold-out everywhere, hence the risky business..

Regarding shipping prices:

Brexit, perhaps? I’m not sure about customs fees. I received decals from GB last week without any additional charges other then my wanting a tracking code. The decals were marked as “goods” from England for customs.

Regarding primer:

Exquisite work, Kari. It could be your lighting, but the color of primer seems “whiter” than what I would normally see. Is that at hundred percent or is there a mix? Let me know.

But thanks Bruce! The AMMO MIG's primer is very light gray, sprayed directly from the bottle unmixed

You do good work, Kari. The primer sometimes hides as well but when the work is good and the assembly is careful as it is here then all that remains is the silhouette.

First paint layers of MRP:s Navy Blue on the Avenger, think it took more than 30 minutes and a half bottle of the paint to come to this point. And more is still needed

Looks good, Kari. No too surprised. I had to get another Testors small square bottle of Flat Sea Blue for my Helldiver kit.

Hey Kari—fantastic results! I am a little confused about the paint necessary, though. What was your mixture and PSI. When I used the Tamiya Corsair Blue I had to thin the mixture quite a bit as the blue was so potent—I was covering a similar grey primed part—that a little went a long way.

Thanks Bruce, I painted with MRP's laqcuers, no thinning needed. The paint is really "thin", had to make many layers to get the blue color out. There are still "spots here and there" that needs a layer or two. If I compare to other colors of MRP, have not really experienced such weak covering as with this Navy Blue.
