Impressive work, Tom!

Stretched sprue wing braces isn't gonna work. Too thin, delicate, and fragile to hold cutter blade. Went to HobbyTown and picked up Evergreen styrene strips ( .030 x .030) and resupplied on Tamiya Flat Black. I also picked up a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" mini cutting mat. Worked on the wing braces again and am happy with it.

Letting these dry overnight before attaching them to the wings.

Couldn't wait... :giggles: cable cutter unit painted Tamiya German Grey. Glued top brace attachment to topside wings with Gorilla glue. Tomorrow, I'll hit the bottom braces then glue the points to cable cutter later in the afternoon.

Once all that is done, the fiddly bits go on then I'm done.

I will be hanging this one on my ceiling. Now, if only I can find a couple barage balloons to hang nearby....

Good on you for sticking with it. It looks crazy cool and I wonder how it flew with that big cutter out in front.
Thanks,
John
