Stuck, Really Stuck...

Post by cbaltrin »

I store my open CA Glue in this acrylic tray (luckily as it turns out). Sometime during the past week, the Super Thin CA decided to leak (blue cap for the extra curious amongst us). This created a now solid lake of glue. I noticed it this morning when I went for one of my microbrushes and it did not budge. I tried to rescue the other two bottles of CA (they are getting pricy now you know). I thought, no problem, I'll just pop the other 'good' bottles of CA out as that type of plastic should not bond too well to the compound it contains. wrong! :hmm:
Well, things could have been worse as you can imagine.

The freezer might help...i've heard that this will loosen CA. Or, you could sacrifice a bottle of debonder and pour it in the area.

Of cource a hammer and saw are always an option.

Man, that sucks.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Circle File I think is the best option at this point Lyle. Thanks to everyone else for the amusing memes
