Very nice scratchin'. I do think you should reproduce the "down in flames" scheme. Save on some of the detailing. Also nice that the pilot gets a "kampfy chair" and the gunner gets a stool! With seatbelts, no less. that is priceless.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

he could put one of those small butane torches in the tail!

Rear machine gun painted.
Putty work on the landing gear struts and spats. (sevveral "dimples" that needed filled)
All wheels painted.
Putty work on the lower fuselage.
Landing lights in the wing have been given a coat of Future to make sure they're sealed in well.
? Think I've managed to keep all the raised panel lines so far?

No pics though.

Thanks gents! I'm not even positive that the gunner's stool had a belt? Must have had something, besides, it looked like it NEEDED one with the pilot's harness being so obvious.
