Calling this one done. A lot I'm happy with, but plenty I am not. I still can't get weathering the way I want...but, that's okay. I has been painted four times, I think. Once before the zimmerit stickers, once after, then again after many of the bits and pieces placed, and so on. I do like this airbrush (see WIP). After painting, I sprayed with rattle can Tamiya TS-71 Smoke.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I’d suggest using epoxy over CA for track sag. CA tends to lose its grip easily on the vinyl tracks. Epoxy is much more tenacious.

That's awesome Lyle, great to see you finish something and I'd be REALLY pleased if that was mine - I do like the paintwork! You did a cracking job on that. What is is about the weathering you don't like?

I have a set o Tamiya track links (plastic) but I can’t find them. Go figure.
I may glue the tracks down, don’t think I have any exposure, so it would be CA. I know they “droop”, but the kit tracks could have been a couple of links longer.
Stuart, had for me to put into words on the weathering. O like the overall look, but it seems the Smoke made it a bit too dark. I would like a bit more wear and tear as well. But, pleased with it.
What’s next? White beans with salt pork and corn bread for supper! Oh, and the Tamiya M10, too.

Dude, that's my kind of supper! Man alive, add me some white onion, some black pepper and a dash of pepper sauce...I'd throw rocks at my dog if he got too near to that! And see, that armor bug has done bit you bad, my friend. Those clanky, clunky thangs are a lot o' fun!
