DeHavilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI

Post by BlackSheep214 »

1/48 scale Tamiya Mossie. A great kit and I had fun building it. I chose to build it as Coastal Command markings, FB Mk.VI, 143 Squadron; RS625, NE-E.

Would I build another Mossie? Absolutely! Two more actually. I want to build one involved in Operation Jericho and another as Pathfinder version.

I also decided to post side by side comparisons to other 1/48 iconic RAF fighters.

Nicely finished Tom! Coastal Command Mossies aren’t modeled too frequently.

Well done, Tom. Looks great!

Love the family photos. It shows how big the Hellcat was if nothing else - what a beast!
