Lyle, a good basic technique for weathering is pin washes around raised details followed by light dry brushing on highlights, corners, edges, etc. They are easy to learn and master. And then last after the decals and flat coat a light dust coat misted on afterwards on the tracks, suspension, and adjacent lower hull areas.

One thing you need to look at, the drivers hatch is installed backwards. The brush guard should be outboard and the periscope inboard.

Coming along very nicely Lyle - I'm with Carlos. Pin washes and dry brushing with a lighter green or similar. I sprayed my US builds with a rattle-can too, so I've been learning the same techniques as you are.

As far as stowage goes, just play around with what you have see what looks good to you - study some photo's or other builds if you need to . Carlos might have other advice but once I was happy with the positioning I secured mine in place with PVA glue (after painting).

Doughnuts are good, that sounds like a great plan Lyle!

No worries, there's no laws on earth that say you have to do weathering.

Yes it works for Sherman’s, amd most any other AFV as well, in regards to the basic tenants of the image
