One of my good friends though of me, while visiting a thrift store. He saw these 4 kits, with a total price less than the BRDM-2 current is online, so he bought them and gave them to me. A good deal I would say!

The boxes are a little bit rough and previous owner had already started with the Su-76m, but all the other boxes where untouched.

Nice scores. I've found a couple kits in thrift stores too. Recently this past spring, my sister picked up a couple of aircraft kits at a thrift store in Virginia. Both already built and posted in Completed thread.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Made a run to the LHS for some things. Got the last bottle of Mr Rapid Thinner and some paint. Got water slide decals for the MG Unicorn and Exia Gundams. Picked up three gold paint markers. You can see the test of them. Also got a Dspaie self adhesive sanding disks and the metal attachment that fits in their rotary tool.

Yeah they do. I've been working on getting some metallic paint markers for small jobs especially on Gundams.

Awhile back I had won a gift certificate to Brookhurst Hobbies in CA. On Labor Day Weekend I placed my order and it arrived late last week.

The Mig looks absolutely gorgeous, and I am curious to try out the Revell Aqua paint.

Picked this up the other day for a bit of light reading. I have the kindle version but I don't like reading non-fiction e-books so I've not been able to get it. I was glad to pick a copy up from my local discount bookshop.

Niceeeeee - a good looking kit that Carlos.

Revel Aqua make some nice paints - especially if you want some brushable metallic paints. Thet do tend to be a bit thick though so I generally add a few drops of acrylic thinners into the pot.
