P-40 GB?

Post by Stuart »

Following the conversation on the eduard thread about P-40's, and a way to up the participation on the boards - anyone fancy a quick and dirty P-40 GB?

Personally I'm almost done on the two kits I'm building currently, and having enjoyed the P-51 so much I'm thinking about building another warbird before I tackle the A-10. I have a few kits in the stash the might fit the bill.

Anyone else fancy it - A quick GB, say starting now until the end of the year? Any variant of the P-40 (Hawk, Warhawk, Kittyhawk etc.), any scale - whatever you have in the stash.

If the answers no, no worries, I might just well build one anyway.

Cheers!

This is currently what I have in the stash.

The Airfix P-40B is a cracking little kit, one of their best. I've built two or three so far and enjoyed them both. The AZ kit is new to me but I wanted a six-gun P-40.

Very interesting…

Interesting idea. Don't have a P-40 in my stash. Maybe I'll score one at Syrcon on October 19th.

I don't have any P-40's in the stash. I built one and that is good for me.

Just testing the water Lyle - seeing if people are interested - looks like we might have a few bites.

I think we should keep it relatively informal, so it might be best to just start a single thread like we did the Japanese GB and anyone interested can just bung a build in if and when they feel like it - rather than starting a whole GB board.

Sound about right?

however you want to handle it is fine. Sometimes a few is all that is needed.
