Bravo, Carlos! Way back at the start of this thread which I for better or worse speeded through while eating chunks of absolutely delicious watermelon you posted a black and white high angle perhaps a parade photo or some such and mentioned that this is probably the subject Dragon used as a reference piece for the kit.

Are there more details about where and when the photo was made? I must admit I may have missed this in discussion.

Sorry that I missed this Bruce. The photo was taken in Spring of '45 somewhere on an autobahn in Central or SouthernGermany. Yeah its a parade of sorts, German POWs to camps in the rear and the 6th Armored Division charging ahead...

Well I guess it's been almost a month since I posted any progress photos. I have finally added the last bits needing to be glued on, the hatches and turret top M2 .50 cal.

I also added the tie down cord for the antenna, and a tie down strap for the fender case of K-rations using some 1mm Tamiya masking tape

after looking at the photo here I have since touched up the area of the rations case strap to get the area that I missed with the olive green paint

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Thanks guys, I just need to do some final bits of gloss painting such as the tail light lenses and vision blocks & gunners periscope. Then I can do final weathering. And lastly I need to paint up the final figure. Finish line dead ahead!

You have, for as long as I've known you online, been an extremely talented builder. But, lately you have really stepped up your game. Most excellent and very well done.
