I'm with Gary, my only criticism is that it's not in my display cabinet!

That's a blooming excellent build Carlos - you've done a fine job on the Sherman and the stowage and figures are all superb and set it off well. There're lots of details to live - the tied down antenna works really well.

Too marks Sir!

Gary, I can’t answer for sure how that stuff stayed on place. There is no obvious strap down of the glacis stowage in the reference photo. My only guess is that the step in the two add on armor plates are enough to keep them there. Those cases are pretty heavy in real life.

Carlos, I think I've got it figured out; that Sherman is rolling down the autobahn! It's so smooth, there are no bumps! 😁

Stuart, thank you. Your are too kind!

Gary, yes, the photo was taken on an autobahn. Smooth high speed riding indeed. I cropped the original photo to get a better look at the stowage details on the tank. Here is the full original photo.

That picture says it all, doesn't it? Better than a thousand words; it is showing what defeat really looks like with those German troops being marched down the median while the victors roll down their freeway.

Yup… everybody heading back to their homes in Germany. An iconic photo of Germany’s defeat of WWII.

What a finish, Carlos! I’ll never be that good with armour kits. I can try but not as good as yours.

Thanks Tom. Just like any genre of model building, keep at it and you’ll get better. Don’t compare to others, just be better than what you’ve done before.

As far as heading home… well first they had to spend some time in POW cages. But they would live to see another day.
