Thanks guys! Gotta do a bit of sanding to smooth out seams on the parts on I glued on and then it will be time for painting…

Well it’s been over a month since I posted any progress photos on this. Since the cockpit was a bit spartan, I decided that I would add the kits pilot figure into the cockpit for some more visual interest. I found a photo of one of the flight test or prototype demonstration pilots in a blue flight suit with a red, white, & blue helmet(probably to match the original markings of the aircraft) so I went with that look on the figure

As of now he is glued in place and awaiting the canopy to be glued on tomorrow so I can commence priming and painting.

Thanks guys. That’s the best he’ll ever be seen, since the canopy will be glued on soon, it’s tinted and non openable so… :Beaver:

All looks good Carlo - it should look the part under the tinted canopy.

Looks good Carlos. I dig your pilot painting. Makes me think of that scene from 'Patton' where Patton is describing the Tanker's uniform he had designed :giggles:
Big Joe: 'You just keep those Tigers busy and we'll take care of the rest.'
Oddball: 'The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to let them shoot holes in me...'
