Annoyingly, in the process of clearing up the seams I've broken off some of the wing gun barrels.

I've just order a couple of sets of these...

That is a tough break. Bad pun not intended.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

LOL! To be honest, they're so flimsy I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner! :headslap:

Finally got the canopy masks I ordered. Strange tracking. Anyway, they arrived.

And true to form, I can't find one of the "ear" windows...the starboard side. So I cut one from some clear stock and will mask it then paint. Good-er-nuff.

I'd like to say I've never done that but I've totally done that

Well, the masks are for Eduard P-40E and don’t fit. And I found the missing piece and replaced the homemade one. Eighty-four (28.88C) yesterday. Cold wind down about 30 degrees soon. Uyghurs.

That does sound nasty!

I'm currently awaiting a masking set, and some new gun barrels for mine.

It has gotten quite cool, but not cold.

Painting each frame segment on the canopy individually...

That's often the easiest way lyle, then tidy up with a cocktail stick - I do that all the time.
