And now...something completely different!

Post by Fermis »

My lastest, "secret" project...

Started with a tail...added some bits, scribed and riveted.

Image

Then the wings...scribed, riveted, dropped flaps and flaperons...

Image

Image

Then the pit...added some bits and a spare True Details bang seat...

Image

Image

Image

A little bit of rhinoplasty...(new nose is from 1/32 F-18 drop tank)

Image

Also threw a little scoliosis at it...(1/48 A-4 spine hump)

Image

Added tip tanks (1/72 F-4 drop tanks)

Image

Re-configured "delta-ish" with canards.....cuz I love the word "canard"!!!

Continuing on...in "secrecy"...

Added fins to the tail....F-14 style....

Image

Scratched up some electronics pod (for lack of anything better to call em!) for the top of the tail...

Image

...and another pod for the chin...

Image

Weapons selected...for a multi-role, multi-mission, carrier capable, all weather, day/night, super sonic attack aircraft, capable of close quarters dogfighting, BVR, anti-shipping, ground pounding and electronic warfare, in the modern combat arena and far into the future!

Image

Wings and tail attached....

Image

Added some antennas and an extra set of winglets, to further enhance it's already astounding maneuverability...

Looks outstanding, but mysterious. Almost looks to be based upon the MiG from the Eastwood movie.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yeah, that one! Not enough (none) coffee yet. Getting old sucks. I think. Don't remember.

I had completely forgotten about that movie...it's been...???...30 some-odd years since I've seen it!
