Re: Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
Congratulations, Stuart! Do you know there’s a FB group devoted to restoring and running British military vehicles? I joined to see something of what it would have been like during my grandfather’s era.

I've heard great things about these so I gave in and got a set

Thanks,

You’re gonna like them John. They come in very handy for small quick jobs.

Nice haul, Stuart and John. I seen those markers at my local HobbyTown a couple weeks back. Not sure how many markers / colors that are included in the set.

Thanks Gents - I'm looking forward to that.
Thanks Bruce - I would imagine there are a few of those types of groups on FB, I must be a member of a few. I also watch some similar stuff on Youtube. My Grandfather actually drove Scammell Pioneers which is why I wanted that kit.speedgraflex wrote: ↑Mon Jan 12, 2026 4:43 pm Congratulations, Stuart! Re: Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
I picked up the AK marker set as well and I love them. Game changer for speed and ease of workflow. I also bought a set of nice super fine tweezers. These are really nice and work far better than the cheap ones I have.

I picked up this 32 Ford to build in John Eatons honor since he as going to build it for the GB I have on another forum. I'll build it like I think he would have built it.

And this pile of old stuff is for a Old School GB I'm doing in April. You have to use only tools and supplies you had available to you as a kid. No airbrushing either. Rattle cans are okay and brand doesn't matter.

I forgot how bad that Testors liquid Cement smelled.

Re: Latest Acquisitions - pt.3
I had some Christmas money this year as well as a $100.00 Gift Card for Brookhurst that my SoCal AMPS group bought me. So I took them to Brookhurst Hobbies where I got a lot of glues, some putties, some blades and these:
