John Eaton Honor build. 32 Ford 5-window

Post by Brandons_Iron »

So, I'm going to build a kit in honor of John Eaton, who we recently lost. He was scheduled to build this kit in my Secret Santa GB, but passed before he was able to start. I have a lot of ideas of how I want to do this, but I've narrowed it down to this list.

I will chop the top and lower the suspension for that perfect look. It will not have the fenders or running boards. I'll set up the small block Ford engine with multiple carbs and plenty of chrome. I have a very special paint job in mind, if I can pull it off. I'll be using mostly kit parts, but I will install a set or resin wheels and tires I have printed just for this build. It may not be how John would have built it, because I am not John. But, I think he would like it and be happy to have it on his shelf. This will NOT be a fast build. I'll likely take much of this year, but it will be done THIS YEAR.

Follow along and enjoy the build as we remember our friend John Eaton.

Since we already have a GB doing this same thing I'll stop this one here and move all future updates the that thread. This will be fun and John deserves it.
