Re: John Eaton Memorial Group Build
Wow, John had A LOT of kits. I can't wait to see what you guys do with them.
I have the frame and quick change rear axle ready to print for John's 32. I also set up some coil over shocks as well. Next I'll work on the engine and trans for this and get some exhaust parts ready as well. The wheels are printed and I also have the tires ready to print. That will be most of the printing for this kit. I'll chop the top soon.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Wow Brandon. That is impressive. Did you design that yourself?

Re: John Eaton Memorial Group Build
No, Sir. I bought the files for my other 32 that I am also starting on and figured I'd use that frame and rear end for Johns as well. This will give it the stance I want for both. I don't have the talent for 3D modeling, but that would be super cool to do.
I spend a great deal of time setting these files up for printing. You almost never get files that are ready to print. I spend far more time setting them up like you see than clean up and installation combined. It takes quite a while to do this part.

Re: John Eaton Memorial Group Build
I think I'll use the P-47D I'm building as my entry into this one. He had this kit in his stash list.

Yeah… he had a lot of those. But 27 B-17 Flying Fortresses…. That’s like half of the bombers heading to Schweinfurt on Black Thursday.cbaltrin wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:56 am Apparently John liked these aircraft the most , based on the number of kits he has in his stash..
