Well what with building a Spitfire mk.I, I just had to...

(Actually I was thinking about getting the new Arma Hobbies mk.I, which as good as this kit is supposed to be, has surpassed it as THE 1/48 Hurricane to get. However, it's twice the price of the Airfix kit yet not twice the kit, and I also preferred the decal options in this kit. I do want to build the Arma Hurricane though, so I think I might get a Mk.II version in the near future).

It’s only natural to do a 1940 Hurricane along with a 1940 Spitfire. And I agree about the markings options on this kit, I.R. Gleed or 303 Squadron. Good stuff! I had not read that the Arma kit was the Hurricane kit to have in 1/48. Interesting….

Yes I know - I nice splash of red to go with the camo. I'm thinking of the version with the red stripe on the rear fuselage.

Apparently so - certainly most reviews of the Arma kit call it the best 1/48 Hurricane ever. But then where have we heard that before? It's all subjective anyway and I can get this, supposedly the previous worlds best 1/48 Hurricane for £21 rather than £45 its a bit of a no-brainer.

I've got that one in the stash Stuart. I ordered a TechMod decal set for 303 birds - then realized the kit has one
