Managed to get this on sale and a long wait for $77 all in. Now I can do all that stuff with forming. I have a ton of 3d modelled cars to print and they all need windows. And anything else I can dream up. I'm pretty happy with this one.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Picked up some new decals for the Airfix mk.IX Spitfire I have as I don't really like any of the options that come in the kit, or with the xtradecal sheet I purchased. I also picked up a Brengun resin smaller chord tail as the the kit only comes with the large (more pointy) one. Not sure on scheme yet - I'm torn between the D-Day striped one of the USAAF one in desert camo.

The P-51D sheet I picked up for the 'Detroit Miss' scheme after seeing the photo of Chris's excellent build in his interview. I've always liked that scheme, ever since I saw it in a RC aircraft magazine back in the 90's. Mind you, the other schemes look good as well and the decal set does actually come with the checker-board marking for options #1 and #2 as decals as well.

Yeah those checkered nosed Mustangs are cool. I amcurious if it's just the black checkers or black and white checkers decal.

I'll take a look Tom - I think they're black and white.
