Your P-39 is looking great Stuart! Love that nose art!

Thanks Chris! One of the advantages of building a USAAF aircraft I guess, you guys had some great stuff. I'm not a big fan of full on nude nose art (although some of the pin-up stuff is cool), but I do like the more cartoony stuff. If I get back to my P-38 build at some point I have some Pluto (the dog) nose art decals for it that looks pretty cool.

Ya, I'm diggin' that nose art. I haven't seen that one before. Very cool plane, sad ending to a great pilot.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Sad indeed - especially seeing how he'd managed to survive his tour as was due to be shipped home.

Ah yes, I’ve seen those markings! Very nice! I never knew the backstory of the pilot though. Most USAAF P-39s had flashy markings with anonymous pilots, or flashy pilots with anonymous markings. Very rarely did you see a hot shot pilot with flashy markings on their P-39.

Oh, I don’t know. D.expends on how easy the a/b is to clean.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
