The F-80 Shooting Star is a famous jet fighter, one of the first jet fighters and the Monogram Kit famous too, old and build from lots of modelers, so these are my.

Very nice Cherry. I'm always amazed by your collection. I've got to start building me some straight wing jets. I see Hobbyboss has a line of F-80s. I might have to look into them. I've noticed your decal work always comes out looking perfect. Got any tips for us decal impaired folks?

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Always the same work, surfacer or primer, then polishing to 4500 and than Chrome Model Master, if nessesary mix chrome and black for shading the panels, Mr. Metal Primer as sealing for chrome or Revell flat coat for used look..

Lyle do not any shreddering of models!

nathen, normaly i use Mr. setter or softer, but it is not availeble at the moment so I use Revell softer for the Decals, it helps.

Ah yes, the classic jet of the late 40s! We can never have too many of those on here.
