Did you use CA on the join points? I’ve read somewhere that CA excels when the pull is perpendicular, that is no shear forces. Looks like l

Binning this one. Cowling cover doesn't sit correctly, nose fits okay but leaves gaps on sides. Yeah, a piece of fuselage snapped off whilst holding brace together.
Cowling cover test fit. Nope...
Nose cowling ... wide gaps. Doesn't flush to fuselage.
Gaps on wing spar for ammo covers
I f%$*ing hate Eduard kits!!! Never again.
Note to self.... remove all Eduard kits on my Watch List in Scalehobbyist account.
In all honesty, as much as some folks say they're great kits, they're over engineered and overhyped. This is my second Eduard kit I've binned. As the old saying goes, "Fool me once, Shame on me, Fool me twice, Shame on you"

Tom, this one is supposed to be especially problematic. They revamped their FW-190 molds and the newer ones are supposed to be far superior. That being said, like the ICM Spitfires, I think that this one is supposed to be built up with all those panels open to show off that interior work. Sorry to see that you smashed it. At the very least I hope that you salvaged the cockpit, armaments, and engine… I hate to see stuff like that go to waste. You never know when that stuff will come in handy.

This would be my 3rd or 4th kit I’ve binned since I’ve resumed this hobby 20 plus years or so ago.

I removed the metal barrels prior to smashing it. I saved the canopy clear parts though. Wow! I have heard these are problematic. I'm sorry that you had to suffer with this, but I'm glad you took it out, Tom! Onward!
