Thanks for the pics. Hindsight being 20/20, I really wish I’d toured the O’Brien when we were in SF. We were right near it.

Keep going, Lyle! That looks like an amazing view from Pa’s table. And I spent my youth building exactly that way.

And, yes, in the closer view of the bench, those round cookie things on the right are. Homemade peanut butter cookies.

Christ… they’re stupid tiny. :headbang: I know the feeling. The 88 has stupid tiny, tiny parts. I dread the day I have to nip them off the sprue and they go ZIIING! into the vast nothingness. :bag:

Good thing I’m smart enough to place blue painter tape on a small square cutting board, cut the sprue part the part is attached to, lay it on the tape, cut with my hobby knife as long as the part is stuck on the tape. :bag:

The tape is a good idea. I've also cut the tiny parts off inside a big, gallon-sized ziplock bag. It catches any strays and you can see them.

That’s another great idea, too! Never thought of doing that. Gonna have to give it try.

Lyle! Sorry to be late to the party - great to see some progress on this. :shoutout:

I fully approve of the auxiliary workspace - I have one too set up on a tray on the kitchen table when it's not in the way.

As far as extra lights go - I have one of this these types of lights clamped to my tray, I just plug it in when I need it. Either that or I use a battery powered head torch
