Oh nice... a North African Theatre Spitfire. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

I did a Red Star Russian Spitfire. Kinda neat.

Yeah, I agree. Not often you find a nose art on Spitfires. Watching this one.

Nose art on Spits is not exceptionally rare… particularly on non RAF ones. US flown Spitsfire frequently carried some form, and I’ve seen some good Aussie ones in the Pacific as well…

Thanks Tom - I do like the Desert Spitfires - there's something about that camo and the Vokes filter that really works on the aircraft.

What Red Star one did you do?

Well maybe not that rare, but certainly from a UK perspective they are. It should make a nice change on the shelf.

Well - three primed Spitfires ready for some paint - I just need to sort out the canopy framing first.

I just hope I don't paint them with the wrong schemes LOL!

Very cool Tom, I have the decals for that aircraft - two lovely builds those were and I remember that thread. The discussion about the Spitfire being the best aircraft of WWII was hilarious.
