50% of the cockpit finished, still some work on and in the passenger cabin (touchups with paint etc)
The ugly brown paint remains behind one of the pilot seat will not be visible, when the rear cockpit bulkhead will be installed.

Meanwhile, to make sure the plane "sits" correctly, I put 20 gram of lead in both floats.

Even if the Tec7 superglue did the job to attach them firmly inside the float, I added some additional supportive framework from sprue pieces, which should anchor them also "for good".. Well, as long as being careful with the Junkers.

Can just repeat myself again, what a wonderful kit!

Man, what incredible photos, Kari! And superb modeling going on! :shoutout:

Good idea about the extra decals - it's looking blooming brilliant. That interior looks excellent.

So far so good, fuselage around the cockpit and passenger cabin are more or a less done.
Masking of the glass parts can start..

But holy malony so confusing set of masks..

Image

Wouldn't it have been easier to number the mask pieces based on the same logic as they are located on the sprue?
Especially when nr 8, no I mean Gb 8 have same number.. but then, all the remaining masks are something totally different..
And on top of that, the layout of the mask does not even match the location in the instruction map...

Oh well, besides these strange logic, tip-top quality and fit of the mask

Image

Luckily this is not a Heinkel He-115 floatplane with masks from Art Scale Kit, then I think I would have gone mad with the logics.... :giggles:

Let's see what next!

Beautiful work on the cockpit, Kari! Stunning! Up to your usual standards and beyond in many ways!

The structure of the kit and its details is quite remarkable. Your work so far is exemplary. Bravo!

The fuselage is attached, 99% without fit issues or hassle..

I had first planned to leave the engine compartment visible, but a second thought changed my mind. Will be closed, but perhaps the other F13 I have in the stash might get more open hatches, doors etc..

But the remaining one % fit issue.. A tiny gap left, something I did not even pay attention to, until taking some close up pics.
I guess a tiny sprue leftover between the roof and the wall caused this. Luckily not too difficult to fix.
Not the kits fault though... :whiteflag:
