No need to apologize! Everyone builds at different paces and you are one who's talent, skills and attention to detail insures that you do your utmost to get the best possible result. I admire your persistence and tenacity in continuing to work with something until you get that final result that is satisfying to you. It looks like you are learning well, and kudos on that outlook; it's perfect! Keep it going!

Don't worry about going slow Bruce as that's scale modeling sometimes. Some of my projects drag out for a year or more and while you're right about it being frustrating sometimes, it's important to say that just staying with it is the key. I don't get the benchtime I would like to have anymore and that in itself is frustrating but I do build when I get the chance. Stick with it man. You'll get done with this.speedgraflex wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2026 12:55 pmI apologize for being so slow going on this, Mark, especially in light of the speed with which you produce your own projects. At times this is frustrating which is difficult to accept. I find myself wondering if I’ll ever finish the cockpit. Most of the time I see this as the greatest test of learning the skills of model building. That is my most positive outlook and the one that I keep!Duke Maddog wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2026 11:35 am Wow, now that is something I never knew! Thank you for posting that. Your work is still looking fantastic too, keep it coming!
Thank you so much for being supportive and encouraging!

Thank you for your kind words, gents, as well as taking the time to write. I’ll be back to the Sopwith soon, though.
Make more models!
