The kit

No.. I bought 3 different Belgian Commemorative aftermarket decals about 5 years ago. Two are D-Day Commemorative schemes.
Exactly… why three Belgies? Of the NATO F-16s, the Norwegians and Greeks vary from the standard camo. And the Dutch have a Mig killer among their fleet. One I can understand. Two even with a line bird and a commemorative scheme… but all three?
Yup… three different tail art. They all look cool.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2026 7:01 pmExactly… why three Belgies? Of the NATO F-16s, the Norwegians and Greeks vary from the standard camo. Now multiple USAF Vipers with their combat histories…![]()

That's the one I'm doing on this Viper.KSaarni wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2026 12:56 am The Belgian Air Force has a long-standing tradition of painting custom, highly colorful "special tails" on its General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcons to celebrate squadron anniversaries, milestones, and participation in events like the NATO Tiger Meet.
The one Tom has chosen as first out, is this I cool one
Some background to this specific camo:
The aircraft bears the code MN*B of Spitfire MH434 in 1944, with RAF markings on the left side and Belgian markings on the right. This is explained by the 75th anniversary of the Belgian Air Force this year.
The human aspect is also very important to us, and we want to remember all those young people of 350 Squadron who sacrificed their youth and their lives to defend their values.
Those two other ones have also really good looking tail art
