My favorite hobby shop was War and Pieces in West Hartford. Even as a kid I was on a first name basis with the owners. It's been about 20 years since they closed.
Wow,I thought Two Guys was a Jersey thing,I loved their toy dept, and later on their $ 1.99 record sales in the mid 70's
After Two Guys went out the building became a Kmart and now it's a Walmart

Here in Naples I've found Family Hobbies. Old time mostly R/C but have found a few kits and supplies

Sadly so Bruce - I've not been back there for a number of years but it's quite sad to see. Even the old VHS rental place has gone and that was there for years.

I remember going to England to visit my Nana and grandad. Summer of 1983. Spent a lot of my money at Mark's and Spencer's
M&S used to sell models - cool! They certainly don't any more - it's a poncy clothes, houseware and food shop now.
