The Hawk was build before WW2 and was not the strongest fighter but has a good style, and can build in so differnt colors (early US Air Corps Camo, french, finnish...) the academy kit is old but can be build as a nice model.

Those are nice Cherry! The Academy kit is actually a Hobbycraft mold originally.

thanks for the information, academy and hobbycraft have often the same kit in different boxes, like this simple but seldom kits, better than the short runs
