The legendary white 5! I have a 1/48 HitKit MiG-3 on my shelf of doom..... I hope yours will be a more pleasant build.

Gonna build it as Red 02 of the 12th GvAIP (ex 120th IAP). Got to do further research between the early and late series Mig-3.

I'll post close up pics of sprues later tonight. To be honest, some of the tiny pieces looks like they will break off easily from the sprues. Should be a fun to do without a little

I am a member of their forum and Massimo Tessitori has been very helpful to me in the planning stages last fall. I'm going with the green wings instead of the red ones. Gonna order some acrylics from Linden Hill Imports for this build. ( http://lindenhillimports.com )

That looks quite nice. I have an early run of the icm spitfire and the moulding quality is bad. This mig looks much better.
Massimo's website is a great reference. I recently build the "charkov spotted mig" using his website. I love the MIg-3, got one build, one partially build and three more in the stash. I wil probably build a HB mig-3 for the this GB.
