1/72 Airfix BAC Lightning F.2A

Post by Fermis »

Hot off the bench!!!

I used Aeries cockpit...not a good fit, I believe it was designed for Trumpy's kit.
..and with the exception of a sewing needle for the pitot tube and scratched boarding ladder, everything else is OOB.

Excellent job on your Lightning!
I have to admit that I'm a real sucker for EE/BAC Lightnings.

We should get sponsored by Airfix! Another good looking Airfix build! ;)

That is an oddly beautiful aircraft, slab sides and all. Another one in the books for fermis. . . and top notch, too!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Wouh Fermis !

Nice to see a Lightning with a "more" colorful camo! Usually all the Lightnings have been more the classic alu/bare metal camo.. But this one is really cool looking!
