1:48 Gumman JRF-1 Widgeon

Post by Cherrylock »

This is a seldom amphibius aircraft, the Gumman Goose is more famous and the Widgeaon is the evolution of this, little bit bigger and changed engine. The kit i from AZ Models and I think from Sigifer.., good details, short run fit and lot of gabs every where..but in the end it is a cool model in the shelf.

Those pre-war roundels sure look pretty. Do I understand correctly that the AZ and the Signifer kits are the same? Or did you combine the two?

Great work. I have the Grumman amphibs (all but the Mallard) waiting to be attacked.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

sorry was wrong in my mind. The signifer kit is different, but the AZ Models and the Classic Airfrme is 100% the same, only differnt decals :bang:

Very cool! Love the weathering.

I did the Lindburg Grumman Goose as a fun little GB at another forum. It was just to see what we could do with it. It's a horrible kit.
